The Tanqueray Trunk Show stopped in DC for the second destination of its 6-city tour. The first city of the campaign was NY about a week ago. The goal of the campaign is to provide young entrepreneurs a chance to engage with some of today’s “self made” influencers and get some insights on “how to play and win at the style game”.
There were two events, a daytime one that took place at Dock5/Union Market. The invite only event daytime event started with a cocktail/networking session where attendees got the chance to interact with: Maxwell Osborne (Head designer for Black Apple and Publish School), Ronnie Fieg (Owner/Designer of Kith) while enjoying custom Tanqueray gin and tonics. DJ M.O.S. was on the 1’s & 2’s all afternoon. After about an hour, the panel discussion started and we got a crash course on the use of social media to one’s advantage. At the end of the event, all attendees were gifted a piece of apparel from either Black Apple, Kith or Stivers Row.
The after party at Opera Ultra Lounge featured an open bar and DJ sets from Just Blaze. It was a great event to say the least. Definitely attend if it comes to a city near you.
