The champ from Riverdale, GA has done it again.Thinking Bout Ya by Deante’ Hitchcock is just simply put incredible. Not only did he garner the services of heavyweight producer Brandon Phillips Taylor to flip the popular 90’s track, Never Should’ve Let You Go by Hi-Five, he made it count by lacing it with some ill bars. The track starts off with a deep-screwed voice of the course of the track then it goes even deeper into a chopped and screwed vibe that gives Hitchcock a nice bed of music to rap on.
“Thinking bout ya, dreaming bout ya, and I don’t want to be without cha.” —Deante’ Hitchcock
This track is timely as it’ll be a dope hip-hop track to add to those upcoming Valentine’s Day mixtapes that are coming from DJs that think ahead. As this track clearly is his way of communicating to the lady that’s on his mind and how he feels about her. More than anything this track will definitely go over well with the ladies, whether they have a Valentines, date or not.
I know that I’m definitely looking forward to Hitchcock’s next project as he continues to explode tracks with thought provoking bars and clever wordplay. Also, be sure to check out his track Ascension, which was featured as ‘Stereo Champions Song Of The Week’, not long ago. As always, press play and keep winning!
