Migos is on a winning streak right now and they are not slowing down, no time soon for nobody and I love it. The Lawrenceville, GA band has been building their sound for some time now and it’s dope to see how their music is evolving. After getting a lot of love expressed to them for their song, Bad and Boujee feat. Lil Uzi Vert; by Donald Glover after he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy for his hit series ATL, they have everyone’s ear in ATL and beyond.
On this new track, T-Shirt by Migos they share their thoughts on how you don’t got to put in that work to take care of your business and your family. This is noted from the lyrics, “Mama told me (aye) not to sell work (mama), Seventeen five, same color T-shirt (yeah).” Immediately, when the music video starts it gives off an inspired, The Revenant, vibe that’s just breath-taking and when you add that along with Migos swag that makes for one hell of a visual. Also, shoutout to @FlexGodDaps for making sure this song got the right treatment to draw you into the track and enjoy the track. Press play and enjoy!
Mama told me not to sell work, Seventeen five, same color T-shirt” —Migos
Definitely make sure you go and pre-order their next album, Culture, as it’ll be available on January 27th, 2017. I’m definitely hoping that they put this one on vinyl as the tracks that I’ve been hearing on this project so far are all fire.
