Spongebob Squarepants Shuts Down An Apocalypse in Sponge Out Of Water

Spongebob Squarepant’s Movie, Sponge Out Of Water will debut in theaters this coming friday, February 6 and there’s a lot to be excited for, in this title. The cartoon itself is already super wonky but the film takes it to a whole new level by showing you Spongebob and his gang in a whole new light. Above everything expect to see 3D used in a creative way, know that the music will make you move, and expect the unexpected. This family television show pushes the limits of comedy and the dynamics of 3D animation.

The main theme of the entire movie is based around teamwork and putting aside selfish ways to accomplish a greater goal. Now this seems to be what the TV show is mostly about but what makes this unique is the team that must work together to save Bikini Bottom consist of Spongebob and Plankton. Apparently in the film Bikini Bottom breaks out into an Apocalypse state once the secret ingredients for the Crabby patty disappears. Because of this the town goes crazy and everyone goes into a zombie like state as if the world is ending. This then leaves no other than Spongebob Squarepants to do his best to try to save the town from going nuts.

In this film the music is awesome thanks to and you’ll hear plenty of tracks produced by them through out the movie. Keep in mind when these go off the kids go crazy in the theatre dancing to these numbers. This definitely helps the film capture the true essence of Bikini Bottom and Spongebob and Patricks quirky personalities throughout the film.

One of my favorite parts of this entire film is seeing Plankton invade Spongebob’s brain. I won’t tell you much about it but do know it’s full of super dumb happy creators including cotton candy, rainbows, and ice pops that only want to play before they melt haha. This is one scene that was on point and super gnarly. If you are into that this film will definitely be for you.

Overall this is a pretty solid movie for kids. It’ll keep them laughing, allow them to learn how to work as a team, and provide music that they’ll fall in love with. This is definitely a cool family night out film or a movie for die hard Spongebob Squarepant’s fanatics. If you go see this film be ready to be inspired and have your mind blown. This film is rated 7/10 on the Stereo Champion’s chart mang!
