This week’s selection for Stereo Champions’ Song of the Week may be a change of pace from the usual choices, but it’s surely worth the recognition. Flipping the classic “Touch Me, Tease Me” record by Case, this eu-IV-produced beat is tough to give just one play and move on to the next. For me, the track has been played in constant rotation since its release, and no, I’m not exaggerating. The standout beatmaker from Baltimore continues to impress with his unorthodox production techniques and adventurous flips of some of your favorite tracks, creating a lane of his own against a pool of skillful producers in the city. His latest effort “dontletgoo” is a masterpiece and, if I’m allowed to take a wild guess, your face will be or could already be scrunched up as soon as you press play. Yes, it’s THAT good!
Again, it may not be the typical choice you’d hear for Song of the Week, but we’re sure you’ll enjoy it. Thank us later.
Keep up with eu-IV and updates on new beats and more on Twitter.
