The largest shoe conference is about to hit the DMV.
The greatest sneaker show will stop in DC on Saturday, April 18th. Prepare for 80,000 square feet of the dopest sneakers to have ever exist.
A few months ago, we hit Sneaker Mania. Picture that as a small meetup compared to the massive event that is about to unfold.
Except to see the freshest and rarest shoes, as sneakerheads will be everywhere in sight.
More than 250 vendors in the market will be in attendance. We expect to see sneaks, apparel, sock, laces and more.
We favor the spring event more than the fall. Why? We love the bright colors and the floral prints.
The event has grown from a small convention in Hyattsville, to actually running the DC Armory. Come prepared to buy, sell and trade the nicest shoes you have.
What do we hope to see?
Yeezy Boosts; of course. It’s this year’s most sought out sneaker yet.
Aside from the obvious, we hope we check out a pair of NikeLab’s Sock Dart, Ronnie Fieg’s recent collaborations with both Puma and Asics, and something out of the ordinary.
Tickets ($25) are sold on Ticketmaster this year (No longer on EventBrite). Show up at noon to find the kicks you want before anyone else cops em.
