14-year-old Willow Smith shows her commitment to music and a change from her hair-whipping days. She dropped an album, but more importantly, she’s casually (and quietly) dropping tracks to the online community. A similar vibe to Jhene Aiko, Willow showcases a more ghostly, eerie voice among her lyrics of dealing with the life she lives. Her recent interviews have been unique from other celebrities (and 14-year-old girls). Willow’s most definitely matured and we think she’s on the rise to something bigger. She even performed a more acoustic cover of “Whip My Hair” while on a short tour with SZA and Aiko. The cover foreshadowed the style of music coming forth from this Smith.
She completes the song in a foreign tongue. Translated: “Spread light sisters and brothers of Earth.”
