While digging through the inner webs to find some heat I stumbled upon a dope emcee from Cleveland, OH, that goes by the name of, Bankie iZ. Tatted up as a true representative of Cleveland with an old school Cleveland Indians logo tatted to the side of his face, he definitely proves that good music is still coming out of the midwest on his new project titled, Josh White. Filled with heavy-hitting tracks, insightful lyrics, and truth, you can definitely hear the hunger this young emcee has in carving his way in the hip-hop industry.
“Hello, everybody it’s the guy from the Eastside.” —Bankie iZ
Like most great rappers Bankie iZ has experienced several things in his life that influenced his music including tragedy, witnessing death at a young age, drug addiction, and more. Somehow he manages to overcome it all and make heatmakers like Red Broccoli, City Lights, and Neck of the Woods. This almost seems effortless when he has a justice league of producers believing in and supporting him including Believe, 100bandxan, Givtyd, and Goldfacemoneywatch. One thing that you can definitely expect from this project is an introspective look on life in Cleveland and all that comes with it, while enjoying tracks that’ll smack your town’s Mayor with no regrets.
Definitely press play and vibe out. #joshwhite
