It’s with great confidence that I’m excited to be premiering one of the smoothest hip-hop tracks I’ve heard in a long time. I Only Talk To You By NKO, has to be one of the most romantic, jazzy, and creative tracks I’ve heard in a while. It features, Tokyo Trendz laying some smooth vocals in the background to drive you deeper and deeper into the track as you journey through the melody of the saxophone.
This is easily one of those tracks you put on while eating dinner with wifey. When we asked NKO what he was trying to convey in the track he replied, “I Only Talk To You is about that stage when you’re getting to know someone intimately and then you see that the time just continues to pass.” He then went on to add, “Time lengths may vary, but at some point, someone usually gets tired of having no title. You’re not really theirs, but they want you all to themselves. Most of the time, the whole no title thing allows people to entertain others in romantic ways free of guilt because they’re not actually tied down to anyone.”
No I see where that song,How deep is your love, by Keith Sweat came about. NKO also made sure to mention that this can turn into a person having multiple relationships, or “situationships” rather, at once. Someone such as NKO simply views it as a single person just sort of dating around in his freedom; not everybody for is everyone. But for reasons rightful to their emotions, some people don’t see this as an okay ideology, causing the other person to keep their flings a secret. And that’s usually when things get complicated.
