One stage. 15 artists. You and thousands of other people gathered together for the sole purpose of celebrating the human masterpiece that we call music thanks to Trillectro, now in its fourth year.
It. Will. Be. Epic.
Why? Because, as history has proven correctly with festivals such as these, it can only get better.
Reminiscent of the harmony exacted during SchoolBoy Q’s memorable set when the festival was doing its best to simply ‘get it done’ and even the Travi$ Scott’s appearance out of thin air as the night descended upon the thousands of attendees during the most recent installment, artists and fans alike have helped to form the collective identity of this growing event.
This year’s line up is set to include Dom Kennedy, Cashmere Cat, JMSN, Mista Selecta, Kehlani, R.L. Grime, and Mr. Acid Rap himself, Chance.
We won’t forget Babeo Baggins, Tunji ige, and Chris McClenney.
There’s also Masego, Native Son, Hi$to, and Ayes Cold.
Random Nerds seems to think that Virginia native D.R.A.M. will be the Trillectro 2015 stamp, especially with his recent “Cha-Cha” hit.
Who knows? I have my fingers crossed for a special appearance – find out the easy way: get your tickets on their official site (the floor is sold out already and V.I.P. is almost sold out, but the pavilion and lawn areas still have tickets available) and keep us updated when you get there this Saturday.
