Finally, one of hip hop’s truest emcees Dayne Jordan has released another smooth track titled, ‘Recycle‘. He’s currently running around the world on the never ending, Vinyl Destination (featuring DJ Ferno, Stevee Blast, Skillz, Cristopher Schafer) and rocking crowds with the notorious DJ Jazzy Jeff. After linking with the North Philadelphia emcee I could tell immediately that I was encountering someone special as his desire to grind for what he believes in turned into a road trip and priceless conversations about his future projections. Dayne Jordan has everything you’d want to see in a seasoned artist but he also embraced the fact that he is still learning and forever working towards his goal of being a notable emcee.
In this music video, you’ll experience the Great Wall of China from the viewpoint of Dayne Jordan and also hear him reflect back on the past year and pay respects to those who came before him in the rap game in Philly.
I’m bringing that feeling back like when Beans had it and Free had it. —Dayne Jordan
He makes sure to mention some of the pioneers of the hip hop game in Philadelphia like Freeway, Beanie Sigel, and State Property. There is also a moment where he pays respect to DJ Nu-Mark and Young Guru, whom he had an opportunity to work with while at the very first PlayList Retreat, put together by DJ Jazzy Jeff.
Having been able to spend a day with him and hear his story I can assure you that Dayne Jordan will be a household name before you know it. Beyond the music, his greatest asset is his character and ability to relentlessly work hard towards his goals. Definitely press play and enjoy this track and be sure to also check out Dayne Jordan’s album The Memoirs of Dayne Jordan. As always, he speaks like a true Stereo Champion when he says, “If I’m not number one then don’t put me in the line-up.”
