Modest Mouse’s quirky brand of indie rock is alive and well on this track and won’t disappoint long time fans. The band has been playing the track live for several years, but now we’re finally hearing it in all its glory as a studio track. Modest Mouse’s new album called Strangers to Ourselves (their sixth total) will be released March 3rd, 2015. The only other song I’ve heard of the album so far is a cute indie ballad called ‘Coyote’ which is also great. According to the band’s youtube page, the song is “Inspired by the true story of a coyote that rode Portland’s MAX light rail train in 2002″…Hmm ok word, dudes.
