Hip-hop is an art form compiled of keen verses, sly hooks, and sophisticated beats. For one to really develop a style relative to the 90’s form of the genre takes time, a highly extended vocabulary, and most of all soul. Mix all of these elements together and you’ll find yourself bumping Logic’s new song ” Like Woah “.
After hearing his flow back on his first mixtape “ Young, Broke, and Infamous ” one could tell that this young kid out of Gaithersburg, MD had that steelo that was long forgotten among most artists today. If anyone thinks otherwise I think you should write a letter to Def Jam and tell’em why. Produced by 6ix, who is a member of his crew whom Logic calls the RattPack he has brought that old school beat that would make Nas smile.
One thing that always catches my attention with his songs is his strong use of lyricism and wordplay in which he had developed uniquely and solidified into his persona. Other than J. Cole and Big Sean, he is someone I see being consistent with this flow out of the younger hip-hop generation. If you’re feeling this track he has also recently release another single off the album entitled “Young Jesus” which features the debut of Ratt Pack Member Big Lenbo and I got to say that he will be another one to look out for in the future. The hype is real, so if you like that good hip-hop tune in on November 18th for the drop of “The Incredible True Story” aka T.I.T.S lol
