GoldLink exploded onto the scene in 2014 with his debut project, The God Complex. Since its release, it’s hard not to hear about the DMV native when discussing the future of Hip-Hop. He’s surely one of those guys to keep an eye on as the genre continues to evolve with new talent and refreshing sounds to match. His bouncy and spaced-out approach, which he refers to as “future bounce,” has taken him to new heights and his fans love him for what brings to the table. His new tunes would be a prime example of that, especially his latest effort, “Movin’ On.”
Following up his first release of the new year, “Dance On Me,” GoldLink keeps the vibes at an extreme with this Louie Lastic-produced track which involves a very familiar sample (I’ll let you guys figure it out). With it being labor day and all, this is the record you should give a spin at the cookout and dance like no one is watching. It’s fun, it’s vibrant, it’s everything you need to enjoy the final days of summer. Sorry for bursting your bubble with the end of summer talk, but at least there’s beautiful music to vibe to in the mean time. Anyway, as the XXL Freshman’s new album And After That, We Didn’t Talk is in the works, all eyes are on GoldLink to deliver after the release of two amazing records in 2015. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that it will come sooner than later.
Be in the loop with GoldLink’s upcoming moves and follow him on .
