This new track supplied by Hi$to is on point and definitely the right way to kick off the weekend feeling good. With a fusion of trap, electronic, and club music Hi$to sends you on a wave link of ill digital transitions and experimental sounds. This is at no surprise as he’s always good for #gettingpsychdup and going crazy on his tracks. Press play and enjoy!
Also, if you like what you hear be sure to check out Space is the Place Records, along with partners Club Kingz Entertainment and The Metro Gallery, for bringing the debut of “SPLACE SCAPE” – a two-night event celebrating the history and future of Baltimore Club and the global impact of our regional sound to the city.
For these back-to-back shows during Baltimore’s 2015 Artscape weekend, Space is the Place Records have enlisted the godfathers of Baltimore Club – including Bmore’s living legends Rod Lee, Scottie B, and DJ Booman – as well as the new generation of Baltimore producers, who continue to build upon the club foundation built by the celebrated Baltimore originators. Representing this new generation of Baltimore artists on the SPLACE SCAPE stage will be TT The Artist, Bond St. District, Mighty Mark, Matic808, HI$TO, Kate Boss, DJ Pierre, Normaling, & Baltimore’s premiere club dance squad, TSU Dance Crew.
For the inaugural event, Space is the Place also recruited some of Baltimore Club’s strongest supporters abroad and invited them to come to the motherland to take part in the celebration. Among them are New York’s incomparable party rapper, Dai Burger; Harlem’s maestro of the sub & Club, Tony Quattro; The Don of Space is the Place Records, Astrolith; and London’s Lvis-1990, the virtuoso producer behind the Nightslugs records imprint that brought KW Griff & Porkchop’s seminal “Bring In The Katz” to the rest of the world.
