He’s been making a name for himself for a while now and he recently put out perhaps his most personal project yet with ‘MICHAEL’ which dropped earlier this spring. During the interview Mike explained the life events causing a transition from making darker more gritty music on ‘NO BULLSHIT’ to a more upbeat positive light sounding project on ‘MICHAEL’. He talked about that transition and challenges he went through to get to the point of making this personal project and even feeling empty and unhappy listening to his older music. He talks about bouncing back from the “dark place” he was in last year in 2016 and just speaking to him you can tell he’s in a better place mentally as he talks about taking his performance game to the next level, 30Whop, PG County, and also his legacy. So without spoiling too much. Episode 41 w/ Mike of Doom.
