Big Pun ‘You Came Up’ Is Stereo’s Sample Of The Week

This weeks sample comes from the late Big Pun. Titled You Came Up, this track features Noreaga on the hook and uses a horn heavy sample by Ramon Morris titled Don’t Ask Me. If you listen to the original track it’s pretty easy to catch on to the sound and hear the comparisons. This was the third single off of his 1998 debut album Capital Punishment which would land him in an elite class becoming the first latino rapper act to have a album certified platinum.
