Although, I was slightly disappointed that I didn’t get the chance to see the little creepy, Iggy Azela, looking china doll stand up and have her head spin around one good time, I’ll say it was a good movie. Some are calling it the prequel to , I think it’s more of a coincidence that the people who received the doll eventually were the same folks that helped eradicate the pesky, creepy, witch ghost from the movie “The Conjuring”.
Since, this is based on a true story—yes I do believe in the spiritual undertaking to an extent—I’ll say the creep life level was two thumbs up. Had all the elements of a possessed object, bad ass demon, let me take your daughters soul type of movie. I was slightly disappointed on how the demon looked though. I’ve seen scarier in an haunted house attraction on the side of the freeway. It had a nice balance of the typical scary movie music, one or two cult psycho’s, dashed with some suspense, and the token black person. But in my honest opinion it still wasn’t better than its predecessor “The Conjuring”.
