What’s up everyone it’s your friendly neighborhood designer back again with a little something for my fellow automotive enthusiasts out there. ( As some of you know I’m into nice rides )
High class, fast, sport luxury, sexy, and expensive. This is what comes to mind when you hear the word ” Porsche”. For some it’s just a means of getting around and for others its an extraordinary machine that holds a strong presence in car culture. What also comes to mind is wealthy CEO’s and snobs in fancy suits that have a six figure salary or more. Not many people in their lives can even get the chance to sit in one of these spectacular machines.
Now let me change your way of thinking, what if I told you a high school drop out from England with dreadlocks, tattoos, and a huge beard owns one of the most rare Porsche 911 Collections out there? Still don’t believe me? well let me introduce you to Magnus Walker.
Lets start off with a young Magnus who walked away from school at 15 years old. If you ask anyone today they would say that type of person has no future, but during his life he surprised everyone by creating a successful clothing line, a film location company, and a ever growing classic Porsche racing and restoration company/hobby. In the path he chose he felt that his lack of education open the door to a new way of thinking by having no rules to follow. He believe that this gave him freedom and the live your life to the fullest lifestyle.
Since his start he has been feature in London’s Raindance Film festival, Top Gear, Speed hunters, Ted Talks, Jay Leno’s Garage, and a few other sites.
This up coming weekend if your in the Detroit area from May 28-30 you can catch him at the Detroit Auto Moto Film Festival that is showing the film that started it all, “Urban Outlaw ; Magnus Walker Driven by Passion” directed By Tamir Moscovici.
